Talismans Candles, whose registered office is 67 Avenue Marie de Hongrie, 1083 Ganshoren with company number: 0782.579.172, collects and processes personal data via the Site Internet: http://www.talismans-candles.com . 
Our privacy policy sets out how the personal data we collect from you will be processed by our services. 
For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (The 
“GDPR”), the term “personal data” means any information relating to a natural person identified or who can be identified, directly or indirectly (for example a surname and first name, date of birth, etc.) (the “Personal Data”) and the data controller is Talismans Candles.

1.1. Information you provide to us. 

You may send us information about yourself by filling in forms on our Website http://www.talismans-candles.com or by corresponding with us by telephone, e-mail or otherwise. This includes information that you provide to us when you create an account to use our Website, subscribe to our newsletter or place an order through our Website. This information may include your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit or debit card information (if you wish to place an order through our Website). When you create an account to use our Website, you can view your Personal Data in the "My Account" section. You can access this section directly to modify them.

We use your Personal Data because they are necessary for the execution of the contract and in particular to create and maintain your account on our Website and to deliver your order.

You will have the opportunity to unsubscribe in each newsletter you receive from us. We use Personal Data about you for the following purposes: 

  • Administration of our Website: the information you send us allows us to fulfill your order, ensure that your order is delivered and keep your account up to date. 

  • Customer service: we ask for your contact details, including your email address and telephone number, in order to answer any questions you may have regarding the use of our Website and to communicate the status of your order. 

  • Direct marketing: we want to keep you informed about our latest collections and invite you to our events. 

  • The performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party: we collect and process personal data for the conclusion and performance of a contract with you and to provide you with the services and products, and adapt them to your needs and wishes.  
     

5. CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA 

We work closely with third parties. Including, for example, cloud service provider, IT service provider, payment service provider, etc. 
The Personal Data that we may transfer to these categories of recipients includes credit or charge card information, your contact details, other names and other contact details that you provide when placing an order and wish it to be delivered to another address as well as the history of your purchases.  
 

6. SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA

We prefer data processing within the EU as much as possible. However some of our service providers (current or future) may process data outside the EU. In this case we ensure that these providers provide an adequate level of protection in accordance with the GDPR.

The GDPR allows you to access the Personal Data that we hold about you and to modify it if it is incorrect. You have the right, for legitimate purposes, to prohibit us from processing your Personal Data. Right to erasure: any request to delete or remove your Personal Data, including information published online, should be addressed to barbara@talismans-candles.com 

Right to portability: if you wish to access the Personal Data that you have communicated to us in electronic form, or if you wish this Data to be transferred to a third party, please send your request to barbara@talismans-candles.com 

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent made prior to such withdrawal. 

You also have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority ( www.dataprotectionauthority.be ).  
 

9. DURATION OF RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

Personal Data Storage Policy: We will not store your Personal Data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law, i.e. i.e. a duration of more or less 7 years. URLs are stored for 15 days and then automatically deleted.  
 

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY 

This privacy policy was last updated on 05/09/2018. We reserve the right to review this Privacy Policy from time to time and make any necessary adjustments. We therefore invite you to consult it regularly. Any substantial change will be brought to your attention.
